Our Club was founded on April 16, 1980 as the Springfield Breakfast Rotary Club with 25 members and met at the Springfield Howard Johnson's. The Club name was changed on December 18, 1996 to West Springfield Rotary Club.

In 1982, the club moved to a meeting facility at the Hunter Motel. Then, in early 1984, the Club began meeting at the Springfield Golf and Country Club.

The West Springfield Rotary Club meets on Wednesday mornings (except holidays) at 7:30 AM at the Springfield Golf and Country Club near the intersection of Old Keene Mill Road and Rolling Road in Springfield, Virginia.
