The West Springfield Rotary Club has a longstanding relationship with INOVA blood donor services to support blood drives. An ample supply of blood is critical to emergency health care in the county. The drives are conducted five to six times a year at the Pohick Regional Library, near the intersection of Rolling Road and Sydenstricker. The club provides donors, but just as importantly provides the administrative support for donor registration. Rotary is thus the face of the drive, as Rotarians are the first people that prospective donors see. The drives are typically conducted on Tuesdays, about every other month; from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Donating blood takes about one hour from sign-in to post-donation juice and cookies. Donation times are announced at meetings and on our web site calendar. But if you can't wait or can't join us during our scheduled drive, Inova has five blood donor locations in Northern Virginia with convenient hours, including weekends. Call (703) 698-3885 to donate. return to top Please help keep these pages accurate. Send any feedback, suggestions, or corrections to
