Since 1981 the Rotary club has sponsored scholarships for area high school seniors. To date the club has awarded $120,000 to over 60 students, most of them from West Springfield High School. The primary selection criterion is a students meaningful activity in the community. As a service organization, the West Springfield Rotary Club is interested in identifying and encouraging the development of future community leaders.
